CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

A Ministry of Christian Education for children at Christ Lutheran Church Children’s Ministry includes, but is not limited to, Cradle Roll, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and the Sunday School Christmas Program. Beginners and Children’s Choir are specifically incorporated in the Ministry of Worship and Music; both are a vital complement to the whole faith formation process.

Vision Statement

The children’s ministry of Christ Lutheran Church exists to encourage children and their families to love God and to love neighbor. [Matthew 22: 37-39]

Mission Statement

A.To love God with heart, soul, and mind . . .

• 1.Study the Word of God and grow spiritually [Ephesians 4:12-14]
• 2.Worship and praise the triune God [Acts 2: 42]
• 3.Develop a life of prayer [Luke 11: 1 and I Thessalonians 5: 16-18]

B.To love your neighbor as yourself . . .

• 1.Serve God and reach out to meet the needs of people in the church, community, and the world [Romans 12: 13 and Micah 6: 8]
• 2. Give our financial, time, and talent resources joyfully -- stewardship [II Corinthians 9: 7-8 and Luke 6: 38]
• 3. Encourage others to grow in a climate of Christian love to carry-out the ministry of Christ [John 13: 34-35 and I Corinthians 12: 4-9]
• 4. Invite and welcome all to this ministry [Matthew 28: 19, and I Peter 4: 8-10]
