Mission Statement

Little Lamb Preschool, in union with Christ Lutheran Church, serves God through serving His children.

Our Purpose

Little Lamb Preschool is a Christian preschool whose goal is to provide a loving, safe environment where children are given opportunities to build self-esteem and independence, practice social skills, express themselves creatively, and participate in age appropriate educational experiences. We firmly believe that children are wonderful gifts from God who are to be cherished and nurtured. It is a great privilege for us to be a part of your child's early education and we take our commitment to your child very seriously.

Our Program

Our program is based on the philosophy that young children learn best through play. At LLP we strive to provide many opportunities to explore and make discoveries. Developmentally-appropriate materials and activities are a regular part of our school day. Children are encouraged nd supported as they learn and grow emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually.

Our Schedule

We offer specialized programs for children aged 3-5 on the following schedule:

• Tuesday/Thursday Beginners AM- 9:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
• Tuesday/Thursday Beginners PM- 12:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
• Pre-K AM- Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
• Pre-K PM- Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Pre-K 5's- Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
• Young 5’s- Monday through Friday, 12:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.

Beginners must be 3 by September 1st, Pre-K students must be 4 by September 1st, and Pre-K 5's and Young 5’s must be 5 by December 1st.

Enrollment

Enrollment begins each year on February 1st. Enrollment is accepted on a first-come, first-filled basis. Christ Lutheran Church and Little Lamb Preschool families may begin registration in January.

Kindermusik

To further foster student development, Little Lamb offers a 10-week session of Kindermusik each fall and spring. The sessions are held at LLP and are taught by a representative from Kindermusik.

Parental Involvement

Parental involvement is not required, but is encouraged. Parents are invited to plan parties, visit the classroom and attend monthly parent/child activities.
