CHOIRS
Adult Choir
The Adult Choir meets weekly on Thursday evenings from 7:00- 8:30 p.m. for practice. This choir offers selections most Sundays at either the 8:00 or 9:30 a.m. Worship services. They sing a variety of music during the course of the year and participate in all festival occassions. All adults are welcome!
Handbell Choir
Our Handbell Choir practices each Monday evening from 6:45- 8:00 p.m. and participates in Sunday services every four to six weeks. The handbells are also included in most festival services. Handbells are a great opportunity for those who love music but are not singers.
Contemporary Team
With the addition of a Contemporary Family Worship service every Sunday at the 11:00 hour, the Comtemporary Team is now invivted to participate weekly in worship. The team includes musicians and song leaders, both teens and adults. Contemporary practice is on alternate Tuesday evenings beginning at 7:15 p.m.
Children's Choir
The Children's Choir includes 2nd graders through 5th graders. Practice is each Sunday morning from 10:30- 11:00 a.m. We enjoy selctions from the Children's Choir at the 11:00 service monthly.
Middle School Choir
The Middle School Choir, more aptly named the Middle School Music Team includes singers and several instrumentalists. The members practice on Wednesday evenings beginning at 7:15 p.m. after their Foundations (Confirmation) program. It is always a pleasure to hear the offerings of the Middle School Music Team.
Youth Choir
The Youth Choir consists of High School students, both instrumentalists and singers. They are often involoved in varying aspects of worship. Some play with the Contemporary Team, some will offer ensemble or solo selections, some will join when the Middle School Choir sings. They also particiapte in Cornerstone, the High School Sunday evening program, and lead contemporary music there.
Soloists and Instrumentalists
Those members who are unable to commit to regular particiaption in any of the choirs are invited to offer solo or ensemble selections as they can. All talents and ability levels are appreciated and Karen Stingely,Music Director, will work to include everyone.
